Bedale Golf Club - Bedale

Bedale Golf Club is an established parkland course on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Opened in 1894, the layout runs through mature woodland and former deer parkland, with tree-lined fairways giving many holes clear definition from the tee.

The par-72 course measures approximately 6,580 yards and is relatively easy to walk, although accuracy is important throughout. Mature trees can quickly block approaches following a misplaced drive, while water comes into play on several holes and adds another consideration when choosing clubs and lines.

Bedale offers a varied test rather than relying on length alone. Golfers who position the ball carefully and avoid the main hazards will find scoring opportunities, but loose shots can leave difficult recoveries around its established parkland layout.
